Every provider in this directory has trained with Irene Diamond, the founder, or one of her educators. The levels describe the therapist’s specific training and continued involvement.
Diamond Active Massage® (DAM) is the client-activated manual therapy, while Active Modulation Therapy™ (AMT) also incorporates movement for neuromuscular retraining, activation, stretching, balance, and awareness.
The highest level of dedication to The Diamond Method and Client Success: Perpetual Learners stay current in their clinical approach while developing with the method itself. They access ongoing consulting and coaching with Irene Diamond. (This is a separate credential rather than a step on the ladder: a provider can hold it alongside any of the AMT levels.)
Active Modulation Therapy™ Certificate Holders: They have attended the core 40+ hour on-line and in-person educational and practical curriculum, passed a written examination with a score of 85% or higher, and submitted at least one documented clinical case study.
Active Modulation Therapy™ Providers have attended the core training 40+ hour on-line and in-person educational and practical curriculum.
Verified Diamond Active Massage® Providers have attended either the 2, 4 or 12 hour on-line and/or in-person educational and practical curriculum that is the center of The Diamond Method active manual therapy. They’ve passed a written examination with a score of 85% or higher.
